The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated the losses incurred by Ukraine during the war. Specifically, since the onset of the invasion, 43,000 Ukrainian soldiers have lost their lives.

"Our people are defending their home at the cost of their lives, and every life of our warriors and civilians is precious to us. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has lost 43,000 soldiers who died on the battlefield," he reported.
Additionally, according to the president, there have been 370,000 instances of aid provided to the wounded, taking into account that approximately 50% of the injured in our army return to service, and all injuries, including minor and recurrent ones, are recorded.
"One of the key differences between the Russian army and the Ukrainian Defense Forces is the level of development of front-line medicine, which is significantly higher in our army. We in Ukraine are grateful to everyone who helps advance medicine in our army and saves our wounded, providing rehabilitation," Zelensky noted.
The head of state emphasized that "since September of this year, Russia has been losing personnel on the battlefield at a ratio of 5 to even 6 to 1 against us."
