On the night of Monday, January 20, the Russian army deployed 141 drones of various types against Ukraine. The drones approached from five different directions.

This was reported by The Ukrainian Air Forces.

During the night of January 20, 2025, starting from 7:00 PM on January 19, the adversary attacked with 141 strike drones of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones from five directions: Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Additionally, the Russians utilized a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" from the Kursk region targeting the Sumy region.

The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 8:00 AM, the downing of 93 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.

Furthermore, another 47 enemy imitation drones were locally lost (without negative consequences), two of which returned to Russia.
