On the morning of December 20, a large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine. This is linked to the threat of missile strikes due to the takeoff of a MiG-31K from Russia, which can carry air-launched ballistic missiles of the "Dagger" type.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, referencing the air alert map and the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force.
The air alert signal began to be announced en masse in various regions of Ukraine around 06:35.
Shortly after, the entire map of the country "turned red."
The military has declared a missile threat across the entire territory of Ukraine.
"The takeoff of the MiG-31K has been recorded!" - states the announcement from the Air Force.
Let us remind you that the last time Russian invaders sent the MiG-31K into the sky against the backdrop of a missile attack on Ukraine was on December 13.
It was also reported that on the night of December 13, Russia deployed several strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the Olenya airfield.
