Trial of MP Kormyshkina from Mykolaiv: Current Updates
The court has extended the procedural obligations of Iryna Kormyshkina, a member of parliament from the "Servant of the People" party, for an additional two months.
This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
— On December 18, 2024, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, upon the request of the NABU detective, agreed upon by the SAP prosecutor, extended the procedural obligations imposed on the Ukrainian MP, who is suspected of illegal enrichment. The duration of these obligations has been extended for another two months, as stated in the announcement.
It is important to note that the suspect is required to fulfill the following procedural obligations: to inform the investigator, prosecutor, or court of any changes in her place of residence and employment; to surrender her passports for foreign travel and other documents granting her entry and exit rights in Ukraine to the relevant authorities; and to refrain from communicating with certain individuals specified in the investigative judge's ruling.
Earlier, it was reported that on October 16, law enforcement officials announced a suspicion against Iryna Allahverdiyeva (now Kormyshkina), a representative from the "Servant of the People" party.
Her husband, Yuriy Kormyshkin, stated on his Facebook page that the 20 million hryvnias mentioned by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine were inherited by his wife from her father. He also mentioned that they would defend their position in court.
