Housing and Utilities Reform in Mykolaiv: Plans to Spend 65 Billion

The Mykolaiv City Council has approved a housing and utilities development program for 2025–2029 with a budget of 65.9 billion UAH.

This information was shared during the broadcast of the Mykolaiv City Council session.

The main focus areas include: repair of facilities, addressing the aftermath of shelling, maintenance of communal enterprises, and waste disposal.

Actual funding may be lower due to the constraints of the city budget (5.3 billion UAH for all sectors). In 2024, only 1.2 billion was allocated from the planned 4.3 billion. The program encompasses the repair of 60 facilities and aims to restore infrastructure and prevent emergency situations.
