The Olympic House in Kyiv hosted a solemn award ceremony for Olha Kharlan, a student of the Mykolaiv fencing school.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine's Mykolaiv region.
The renowned sabre fencer received a special distinction from the NOC of Ukraine, the "Sports Symbol of Unity."
While presenting the award to the two-time Olympic champion, the president of the National Olympic Committee, Vadym Hutsait, emphasized that she has become a true voice for Ukrainian sports during the challenging times of war.
Additionally, during the ceremony, Olha Kharlan was presented with an exclusive personalized ceramic statuette, symbolizing victory and an indomitable spirit.
