Member of Parliament from Mykolaiv Kormyshkina has resigned

Member of Parliament from the "Servant of the People" faction, Irina Kormyshkina, has submitted a resignation letter.

This became known from the announcement of the meeting of the Rada Committee on Rules and Deputy Ethics scheduled for February 24, as reported by Focus.

The committee is expected to adopt a conclusion, while the final decision regarding the resignation of the deputy will be confirmed by parliament. Kormyshkina has not publicly commented on this information.

Information about Kormyshkina's resignation was also reported by MP from "European Solidarity," Alexey Goncharenko.

It was previously reported that on October 16, law enforcement authorities announced suspicion against the representative from the "Servant of the People" party, Irina Allahverdiyeva (now Kormyshkina).

Irina Kormyshkina is suspected of concealing information regarding the purchase of a house and two plots of land.

Her husband, Yuriy Kormyshkin, stated on his Facebook page that the 20 million hryvnias mentioned by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine were inherited by his wife from her father. He also mentioned that they would defend their position in court.
