Accident near Ternopil: a truck overturned, landing on its cab (video).

On the morning of Saturday, February 15, an accident involving two trucks occurred on the highway near Ternopil.

Photos and videos are being shared by eyewitnesses on Telegram channels.

"HORROR! A truck was overturned in the middle of the highway. The accident happened in Horodysche. Preliminary reports indicate no injuries.

Traffic is hindered because one lane is blocked," reads the caption to the video.

Telegraph learned details of the collision from the Ternopil police. In a statement, the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Ternopil region informed journalists that two trucks collided on the highway. One of the trucks was empty, while the other was carrying corn. The truck driver reported that he was unable to stop the vehicle on a slippery section of the road – it skidded. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the collision.

Traffic on the highway is difficult. Drivers are preliminarily sober, but blood samples have been taken to check for alcohol content. An investigator is working at the scene of the accident.
