The construction of "Lesnichka" in Varvarovka has been halted due to complaints from local residents.

A complaint regarding construction activities in the forest park zone of the Varvarovka microdistrict in Mykolaiv has been received by the hot line of the State Environmental Inspection.

This information is reported by the press service of the agency.

“State inspectors conducted an on-site visit. No evidence of tree cutting or damage was found. Construction materials are present on the site,” – the message states.

According to information from the Southern Forest Office of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine, a recreational area called “Lesnichok” was planned in the forested area, where citizens could safely and freely relax.

“However, due to the negative response from residents of nearby houses, the establishment of the recreational area has now been halted and will not continue in the future. The construction materials will be removed shortly,” – the inspection notes.
