The head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, spoke about the events that occurred on the night of Friday, December 20, in Kherson.

The corresponding video message was posted on his Telegram channel.

"We are always ready for evacuation and are happy to assist the residents of Kherson, even under such circumstances."

"Regarding the events that took place, yes, they were shelling at night, mimicking assault actions. I want to thank our guys. Everyone acted calmly. There are many losses among the occupiers."

"We are here, monitoring everything. Mykolaiv will never abandon Kherson."

"Do not let the Russians spread misinformation; we are 'meeting' everyone," said Vitaliy Kim.

On Friday, December 20, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that Kherson was under heavy artillery fire from Russian forces. He also mentioned the activities of reconnaissance and sabotage groups attempting to advance towards Kherson.

The occupiers turned Kherson into a real hell. Explosions were heard throughout all districts of the regional center. The enemy deliberately targeted residential buildings, social, and critical infrastructure.
