Iran may supply Russia with weapons to counter Ukrainian naval drones, according to ISW.
The Government of the Russian Federation might continue importing new military equipment from Iran following the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the two nations. Russians could acquire UAVs, ballistic missiles, and machine guns.
This information is detailed in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
A Russian blogger stated that Russia could sell Iran modern fighter jets such as the Su-35S, Su-30SM, and Su-57, along with S-300 air defense systems.
In return, Iran is expected to provide Russia with advanced Iranian strike and reconnaissance drones, Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar ballistic missiles, as well as long-range rotating machine guns "Moharram" of 50 caliber.
The blogger suggested that the potential arrival of "Moharram" machine guns could assist Russian forces in countering Ukrainian naval drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Black Sea.
