Украинцам начнут выдавать новую субсидию: все подробности.

Starting January 29, 2025, a new program for state support will be launched in Ukraine. Internally displaced persons will be able to receive monthly subsidies for housing rent, which will significantly assist in covering these expenses. This was announced by the Government.

To qualify, it is necessary to sign a rental agreement and submit an application to the Pension Fund or the CPAU.

The subsidy is granted for a period of six months, with the option to extend for another six months upon reapplication. The review of the application will take up to 10 working days from the date of submission.

IDPs can receive a subsidy in the following cases:

  1. if you do not own housing in the new region or it has an area of less than 13.65 square meters per family member;
  2. if your housing has been destroyed or damaged and is uninhabitable;
  3. if you spend more than 20% of your income on housing rent;
  4. if you are not receiving assistance for living as an internally displaced person;
  5. if you are not participating in the "Shelter" program;
  6. if your family has a low income: if the average income per person is less than two living wages (5840 hryvnias), you may receive a larger subsidy.

For landlords who officially rent housing to IDPs, the government offers tax benefits, including compensation for personal income tax (PIT) and military levy. Additionally, for property owners who are individual entrepreneurs, the single tax rate will be compensated.

It is worth noting that in December, families of IDPs receiving living allowances have the right to a one-time cash assistance of 6,500 UAH for each child under 18. This funding is intended for purchasing warm clothing or other essential items for winter.

Furthermore, under the updated state program "eRecovery," monetary compensation for housing will be provided only to certain IDPs. Specifically, those who have lost their only housing will be eligible for payments.
