Personnel from the 110th Mechanized Brigade named after General Khurunzhy Mark Bezruchko repelled an assault by Russian occupiers, who advanced in two columns of armored vehicles towards the positions of Ukrainian defenders. This was reported by the press service of the OSHV "Khortytsia".
"In the Novopavlivka direction, infantry successfully repelled the assault of the occupiers with two columns of armored vehicles. The enemy attempted to breach our defenses in the area of responsibility of the 110th Mechanized Brigade. Their latest attempt resulted in the loss of 10 units of equipment after two assaults," the statement reads.
In the OSHV "Khortytsia," it was specified that the occupiers used armored vehicles to transport their assault groups and break through defensive fortifications, which, along with the airborne troops, were destroyed.
During the repulsion of the attack, the following were destroyed:
"The damaged armored vehicles and the remnants of the enemy airborne troops that managed to land were finished off with artillery fire and FPV drone strikes. The enemy offensive has been repelled, and there has been no loss of positions or deterioration of the tactical situation," noted the OSHV "Khortytsia."
As a reminder, the fighters of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed all units of North Korean troops that were in the brigade's area of responsibility in the Kursk direction.
