The "Diiа" app is launching a new initiative for veterans called "Veteran Sports." This project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, aims to assist defenders in regaining their strength and returning to an active lifestyle. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov.
The service is available to veterans over 18 years old, provided they have an identification code and confirmed status in the veterans' registry. Having a certificate in "Diia" is not required. Once your application is confirmed, 1,500 hryvnias will be credited to your card, which can be spent on gym memberships, sports sections, or clubs.

"Sports is not just about physical health. This program is about reducing stress, meeting new people, and returning to a normal life," the message states.
To receive assistance for the first quarter of 2025, it is advisable to act quickly. Applications must be submitted by January 20. Unused funds will be returned to the budget, but at the beginning of the new quarter, you will receive the full amount again.
