Ukrainian forces in Donetsk eliminated enemy strongholds and thwarted Russian attempts to launch an assault.

In Donetsk, artillery units of the "Vengeance" brigade struck a shelter used by Russian troops, effectively destroying it and significantly weakening the enemy's positions. This was reported on Tuesday, February 25, by the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia".

“The border guards of the fire support command used the RAK-SA-12 multiple rocket launcher to destroy the occupiers' shelter and thwart the enemy's plans for offensive actions,” the report states.

Ukrainian military officials noted that this successful strike is a crucial step in strengthening the defense of the eastern front and reducing enemy activity along the frontline.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine added that the Russian army has also intensified its efforts in the Novopavlivka direction. There, the enemy was advancing towards Kostiantynivka and Burlatske.

To transport assault groups, the occupiers utilized motorcycles. However, as a result of the work of Ukrainian artillery and drone operators on the battlefield, 9 motorcycles were destroyed or damaged.

“The search for and destruction of enemy personnel continues. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the line while eliminating superior enemy forces,” the statement reads.

It is worth noting that on February 21, it was reported that Russian forces were applying significant pressure in the Lyman direction. During the repulsion of attacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed a Russian trench-digging machine, the BAT-2, for the first time.
