The Kamianets-Podilskyi District Court has issued a verdict against Ihor Holinberg for the distribution of pornography. The accused had been publishing prohibited content on a website for seven years. However, instead of a three-year prison sentence, he received a one-year suspended sentence.
According to the court verdict dated February 24, from September 2017 to December 2024, Kamianets-Podilskyi resident Ihor Holinberg published pornographic photos and videos on a website. In total, the accused managed to upload 6,082 files. According to the investigation, the man operated from his own computer, which contained evidence of the crime during the searches.
During the court proceedings, the accused fully admitted his guilt.
Judge Volodymyr Cherepakhin found Ihor Holinberg guilty under part 1 and part 3 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (importing, producing, selling, and distributing pornographic materials), but exempted him from the main punishment of three years of imprisonment and instead imposed a one-year probation period. The accused is also required to pay UAH 38,203 for the involvement of experts. The decision can still be appealed in the appellate court.
