In a vocational school in northern China, a teacher was suspended after it was revealed that she was involved in romantic relations with a teenage student. Their conversation in an online chat on the WeChat social network was accidentally projected onto a screen in front of the class. This was reported by the publication SCMP.
The teacher, whose last name is Zhang, works at a vocational school in the city of Qingyuan, Shanxi Province. She is married and has a daughter.
In the chat, the boy, aged between 15 and 18 years, asked, "Dear, why are you crying?" The woman responded, "I helped my daughter wash her feet and asked her to wash mine, but she refused. Then I called my husband, but he also didn’t want to. I was very irritated and told him: 'The child treats me the same way you do.' I'm so sad! Who did I marry?" — Zhang reflected.
The student, whose name has not been disclosed, comforted his beloved by saying, "Don’t ask him to do anything for you, because I will get jealous. When we live together, I will wash your feet," he confessed.
It has been reported that the entire class became aware of the couple's relationship because the teacher was using a computer connected to the projector without logging out of her WeChat account.
It is still unknown how long they have been in a relationship. The administration of the educational institution stated that they take this case very seriously and have already begun an investigation. Zhang has been suspended from her job.
This story quickly spread on social media, sparking discussions.
