The Russian occupying forces have fully captured the city of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk region. This was reported by analysts from DeepState.
"The enemy has occupied Kurakhovo," the report states.
Analysts have also updated the battle map. Kurakhovo is now in the red zone, indicating that control of this settlement has passed to the occupiers.
Additionally, according to DeepState experts, the Russians have advanced near Andriivka, Solenoye, and Novoselka.
At the same time, in the latest report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was reported that the Russians attempted to breach the Ukrainian defenses near Kurakhovo, but they did not comment on the information regarding the city's occupation.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians attempted to breach our defenses 61 times near the settlements of Novopolivka, Tarasivka, Baranivka, Myrolubivka, Yelizavetivka, Luch, Lisovka, Myrnograd, Novy Trud, Zverovo, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novoaleksandrovka, Novovasyliivka, Novoandriivka, Novoelyzavetivka, Andriivka, Kurakhovo, Dachne, and Yantarne," the report stated.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also emphasized that in this direction, 276 occupiers were neutralized in a day, 139 of whom were irretrievable.
Recall that on January 7, analysts from DeepState reported that almost the entire city of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk region is occupied by the enemy.
On January 10, the OSUV "Khortytsia" reported that the Russian Armed Forces are trying to dislodge Ukrainians from the Kurakhivska Thermal Power Plant.
