On the night of Saturday, November 23, the Russians attacked the Zaporizhzhia region once again. As a result of the shelling, a man lost his life. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
On Friday, November 22, at 20:59, an air alert was declared in the Zaporizhzhia region. Residents were warned about the activity of Russian tactical aviation. Around 22:00, explosions were heard in the city and the region. At 22:51, the head of the OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the Russians struck one of the settlements in the region, causing damage to a farm. Additionally, as a result of the Russian strike, warehouses in the regional center suffered partial destruction.
At that time, Ivan Fedorov stated that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties. However, on the morning of Saturday, November 23, the head of the OVA clarified that a 55-year-old man was killed due to the airstrike in the Zaporizhzhia district. Furthermore, an 11-year-old boy was injured as a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhia.
“15 residential buildings and several non-residential premises were damaged due to the nighttime enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. Windows and balconies were shattered in four apartment buildings, and roofs were damaged in eleven houses in the private sector in the Dniprovskyi district,” reported Ivan Fedorov.
Overall, according to Ivan Fedorov, throughout the day, the occupiers shelled 16 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region 433 times.
It is worth recalling that on the night of Monday, November 11, the Russians used guided aerial bombs to strike Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, a 71-year-old man was killed, and 22 others were injured.
