The company "Pozhmashina," a leading manufacturer of firefighting and other specialized equipment in Ukraine, will construct a factory in Lviv. The relevant agreement was signed with the industrial park "Formacia.Lviv." This was reported on Friday on the company's Facebook page.
"Today, we signed an agreement with the industrial park 'Formacia.Lviv' for the construction of a new factory", the statement reads.
The new facility is expected to open in two years, with an investment of 15 million dollars.
"Pozhmashina" is one of the leading enterprises in the Ukrainian market for firefighting, specialized, and agricultural machinery. According to YouControl, the company was founded in September 2005 in the urban-type settlement of Ladan, Priluky district, Chernihiv region. Its main activity is the production of bodies for motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers. The general director is Oleg Averyanov. In the spring of 2022, a third of the factory was relocated to Lviv region.
The industrial park "Formacia.Lviv" in the industrial zone "Syhnivka" is being developed by the developer Alterra Group. On a 30-hectare area, it is planned to create facilities with a total area of 150,000 m2. The park will provide jobs for over 3,600 people.
