"Veres has announced the transfer of a defender from Dynamo."
The Rivne "Veres" announced on its official website the signing of defender Nazar Balaba from "Dynamo".
The 19-year-old defender has signed a 3-year contract with Oleksandr Shandruk's team. He will wear the number 35 in his new squad. While the terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, according to Transfermarkt, "Veres" paid "Dynamo" a compensation fee of €20,000.
It is worth noting that Balaba is a native of Rivne. He began his football journey in the youth sports school of "Veres" before moving to "Dynamo," where he played for the U-17 and U-19 teams.
In the current season, Nazar has made 10 appearances for the "white-blues," contributing 2 assists. He scored 1 goal in 3 matches for the Ukraine U-19 national team.
As a side note, "Veres" is currently in eighth place in the Ukrainian championship standings after 18 rounds, accumulating a total of 22 points.
