On the morning of Monday, November 25, a cargo plane belonging to the German company DHL crashed into a residential building near the local airport in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a result of the incident, the pilot of the aircraft lost their life, reported LRT.
According to law enforcement officials, the Boeing 737-400 cargo plane was flying from Leipzig, Germany. There were four people on board, including two pilots and two other company employees.
Journalists reported the death of one of the pilots, while two other individuals on the plane were hospitalized. Search efforts are underway for one more person.

The building that was struck by the plane sustained damage; however, the residents remained unharmed. A significant fire broke out on the premises of the affected building, prompting the evacuation of all occupants.
It is noted that the plane that crashed into the residential building belongs to the German company DHL, which specializes in cargo transportation and is one of the largest logistics operators in the world. The company has yet to comment on the incident.
