The Ukrainian Armed Forces denied reports from an American TV channel regarding North Korean troops near Kharkiv.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces refuted the claims made by an American television channel about North Korean troops near Kharkiv.

The operational-tactical group Kharkiv denied the information regarding the alleged "presence" of North Korean military personnel in the Kharkiv region. This was confirmed by an official statement from the Operational Tactical Group, published on their Facebook page.
 
The military emphasized that the individual who provided such information to the media was commenting on the operational situation outside of their authority, as they are not their official spokesperson.
 
"The operational situation in the Kharkiv direction has not undergone significant changes; the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to withstand the pressure from Russian occupying troops," the statement reads.
 
As previously reported, the American television channel CNN, citing a "source in the SBU," claimed that North Korean military personnel are allegedly already in the occupied Mariupol and in areas of the Kharkiv region captured by the Russians.
