Four monuments in Mykolaiv have been included in the list of monuments slated for demolition as part of the decommunization process.
Among the 100 monuments across Ukraine earmarked for dismantling during decommunization, four are located in Mykolaiv.
The list was published by activists from the public organization "Dekolonizatsiya.Ukraine".
One of the Mykolaiv monuments made it into the "top ten": the monument to the "Fighters for Soviet Power" ranks 9th. Other monuments on the list include the monument to the Leninist Komsomol, Admiral Makarov, and Lyagin.
Additionally, Ochakiv is also represented on the list, where monuments to Suvorov and a bust of Kutuzov still stand.
