A person died in a fire in Mykolaiv (video).

On the evening of Wednesday, November 27, a report of a fire was received by the emergency services in Mykolaiv, specifically at the "Rybak" cooperative located in the Namyv area near the so-called "fifth pier."

This information was reported by a correspondent from "Novosti-N" on the scene.

To extinguish the fire, a team from the State Emergency Service arrived at the location. Firefighters found thick smoke billowing from the garage.

During the firefighting efforts, the body of a man approximately 50-60 years old was discovered in the burning premises. Preliminary data suggests that the victim died from smoke inhalation. A more precise determination of the cause of death will be provided by a forensic examination.

The area affected by the fire was about 20 square meters.
