Nikolaev has introduced its first electronic Book of Memory (photo).

In Mykolaiv, an electronic Book of Remembrance has been established to honor the heroes who lost their lives fighting for the independence of their homeland in the Russian-Ukrainian war. This resource provides information about the fallen defenders from Mykolaiv, starting from 2014.

In Mykolaiv, an electronic Book of Remembrance has been established to honor the Heroes who lost their lives for the independence of the Motherland during the Russo-Ukrainian war. Here, one can find information about the fallen defenders of Mykolaiv, starting from 2014.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

“We must remember those who died for the freedom of Ukraine. We need to know every individual who sacrificed the most precious thing – their life in the war against the Russian aggressor,” wrote Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych on his social media.

The first touch-screen information terminal was installed near the CPAU in the Central District. Subsequently, similar electronic Books of Remembrance are planned to be placed in every district of the city.

Preferred format for providing information:

  • last name, first name, patronymic; military rank, position;
  • dates and places of birth/death (killed), burial;
  • circumstances of death, information about awards;
  • if possible – biographical details;
