The operators of the 3rd Special Operations Regiment eliminated around a platoon of Russian soldiers in the Donetsk direction. This was reported on Wednesday, February 26, by the SSO fighters.
The report states that the assault on the industrial complex in the Donetsk direction was carried out by operators from the 3rd SSO Regiment. During the operation, the defenders managed to eliminate about a platoon of Russian troops. Only one occupier was able to survive, as the soldiers forced him to surrender.
The captured Russian provided valuable information about the enemy's troop concentrations and ammunition depots. Consequently, these arsenals were destroyed that same day.
“When the enemy infantry occupied the industrial complex, the command of one of the units of the 3rd SSO Regiment planned and dispatched subgroups to conduct special operations at the site and around the perimeter of the industrial zone,” the statement reads.
The drone operators were the first to engage, followed by Ukrainian fighters who entered the industrial complex in armored Humvees and cleared all the buildings.
As a reminder, on February 26, it was reported that the Sicheslav airborne troops, during assault recovery operations, took control of the settlement of Kotlyne, located near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
