UPL, 18th round

"Shakhtar" (Donetsk) – "Left Bank" (Kyiv) – 1:0

Goal: Shved, 61

"Shakhtar" seized the initiative from the very first minutes, launching attacks on the opponent's goal. To the credit of "Left Bank", they did not sit back defensively; instead, they counter-attacked at the first opportunity – just in the 7th minute, only the post saved Riznyk's goal from a score. The back-and-forth continued throughout the first half, with both teams having chances to take the lead.

After the break, "Shakhtar" wasted several good opportunities: Bondarenko shot from a tight angle – the attempt was blocked, and a moment later, Traore tried to direct the ball into the net with a header – the ball went wide. Ultimately, in the 61st minute, Shved managed to break the deadlock, scoring his debut goal of the season. Notably, the goalkeeper of "Left Bank" became the main hero for the "storks," saving his team from certain goals on numerous occasions. At the end of the match, the valuable newcomer for "miners," Elias, hit the post twice.

The victory allowed "Shakhtar" to earn 36 points and remain in third place in the UPL standings. "Left Bank," with 16 points, dropped to fourteenth place.
