On the morning of February 1, Russian occupiers launched another strike on Ukraine, utilizing missiles and attack drones. Explosions were reported in several regions, leading to emergency power outages, reported "Ukrenergo".
Since the evening of January 31, the occupiers have been attacking Ukraine with strike drones. Around 06:50, the Air Forces reported a missile threat. As of 08:00, the threat of missile attacks remains in all regions.
According to media reports and local authorities, explosions were heard in the territories of Kharkiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Kyiv regions. The consequences are currently being assessed.

Kharkiv
In the Kholodnohirs'kyi district of Kharkiv, a woman around 60 years old died as a result of the Russian drone attack, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov. According to Synegubov, five other people were injured.
As a result of the strike, a private house was partially destroyed. An additional 16 buildings were damaged, reported the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
Poltava
Explosions were also heard in Poltava – according to the Regional State Administration, there was impact on a residential building. Currently, information about casualties and damages is being clarified. A total of 164 residential and one legal consumer were left without electricity.
As a result of the Russian attack in Poltava, two people died. At least seven others were injured, including a child, reported the press service of the State Emergency Service. Later, rescuers informed that the death toll had risen to three, while the number of injured reached ten.
“The entrance from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed, and a fire broke out. Neighboring houses and 12 cars were damaged,” the rescuers reported.
Subsequently, the press service of the State Emergency Service reported that as of 11:50, four people had died in Poltava. Another 13 were injured, among whom were three children. 22 people were rescued.
Zaporizhia
Throughout the night, the occupiers also attacked Zaporizhia with drones – according to the head of the Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, the Russians used 18 Shahed UAVs to strike the city, resulting in damage to civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. Ivan Fedorov described the attack on the city on February 1 as the most massive since the onset of the full-scale war.
As a result of the attack, 400 subscribers in Zaporizhia lost power, but electricity supply has since been restored. Residential buildings, an educational institution, a car wash, and private garages were damaged in the city.
Sumy Region
In Sumy, two people died due to the night drone attack, reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Later, the press service of the Sumy Regional State Administration confirmed the deaths of three law enforcement officers who were killed while patrolling in the Yunakiv community.
