On the evening of Saturday, March 1, occupying forces launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. A residential high-rise building was hit, resulting in a fire. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

At 19:33, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration declared an air alert in the region due to the threat of strike drones. Shortly thereafter, Ivan Fedorov reported that the enemy had struck a residential high-rise building. The published video shows a large fire on the roof of the building.

According to the head of the administration, rescuers are continuing to address the aftermath of the drone attack on Zaporizhzhia while the alert is still in effect in the region.

“Currently, the medical teams have not received any reports from individuals injured as a result of the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia. An ambulance crew is stationed at the impact site,” Fedorov stated.

Later, the head of the administration reported that the enemy strike drone had destroyed the roof of the residential building, causing a fire over an area of 300 m2.

Updated. According to the administration, as a result of the enemy strike, a 31-year-old woman was injured and transported to the hospital. Several other injured individuals received medical assistance on-site. The drone attack damaged a four-story residential building.
