Russians are unlawfully selling off Ukrainian property in occupied territories.

The funds obtained from the stolen Ukrainian assets are being used to finance Russian military aggression.

The Russian occupation authorities continue the illegal re-registration of property belonging to Ukrainians in the occupied territories. The enemy once again violates the rights of Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance on February 1.

As activists have established, the Russian invaders in occupied Crimea have already earned over 4.8 billion rubles (approximately 1.4 billion UAH) from the sale of seized property belonging to Ukrainians. The funds obtained from the illegal sale of Ukrainian housing are being used to replenish Russia's military budget. With the looted money, the enemy purchases weapons, equipment for the army, and sustains the occupation administrations.

“Thus, the enemy is not only destroying the Ukrainian future but also attempting to finance its crimes using what has been stolen,” the Center adds.

Recall that in September 2023, the Russians held the first auctions for the sale of previously “nationalized” properties in Crimea that belonged to Ukrainians. The invaders also announced the sale of residential premises, including the apartment of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's family, sanatoriums, commercial and retail spaces, and more.
