Russian drones targeted the Khmelnytsky region, resulting in injuries to a 75-year-old resident.

In the village of Pyrohovtsi, located near Khmelnytskyi, a fire broke out on private property due to an attack by Russian drones. The blast wave damaged ten private homes. The head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, reported that a 75-year-old resident of Pyrohovtsi was injured.

“As a result of the attack, a woman was injured and taken to the hospital. After examination, she was released home with a diagnosis of lower limb hematoma. Windows, doors, and roofs were damaged in ten houses. A fire broke out in one of these private properties, which was promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service units,” – wrote Serhiy Tyurin.

He added that the enemy shelling also damaged an electrical transformer, power lines, and the roof of a warehouse belonging to one of the enterprises. A total of 266 private consumers and 11 legal entities were left without electricity. As of the morning of March 2, energy workers are attempting to restore power to the electricity consumers.

It is noted that the occupiers attacked Khmelnytskyi region with drones in the early hours of March 2. The air raid alert began at 00:50 and ended at 2:49. The air defense forces managed to destroy six enemy Shahed drones that attacked the region.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that the enemy also attacked Khmelnytskyi region on the night of February 19. During that drone attack, two vehicles were damaged.
