In Lviv region, police have informed a 38-year-old resident of Odesa of suspicion for organizing a scheme for illegal border crossing. The suspect sold fake birth certificates for children to draft dodgers via Telegram.
As reported on Tuesday, November 26, by the police and prosecutor's office of Lviv region, the scheme involved the production of fake birth certificates for non-existent children. The 38-year-old Odesa resident posted an advertisement for the sale of forged documents in the Telegram messenger.
She was detained while selling a counterfeit certificate to a conscript for 14,500 UAH. Law enforcement documented several episodes of the suspect's criminal activity.

During the searches, authorities seized over 270 counterfeit seals from enterprises, institutions, and organizations, document templates, and birth certificates, as well as mobile phones and computer equipment used for production, alongside nearly 110,000 dollars and gold bars weighing 2.5 kg.
The detainee was informed of the suspicion of illegal transportation across the state border, as well as forgery of seals and official documents (part 3 of article 332, part 3 of article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The decision regarding her preventive measure is being determined. Investigators are identifying other participants in the criminal scheme.
