The occupying Kherson Regional Court has delivered a guilty verdict against 35-year-old Igor Protokovil, a deputy of the Nova Kakhovka City Council from the "Batkivshchyna" party. According to the investigation, in April 2022, Protokovil transmitted information about the locations of Russian military personnel to a Security Service of Ukraine employee via one of the messaging apps. He was accused of espionage against Russian soldiers and sentenced to 12 years in a high-security prison.
