On the evening of Wednesday, November 27, many central streets of Mykolaiv were gridlocked with long traffic jams.
This was reported by a correspondent from “Novosti-N”.
The largest congestion occurred on several streets heading towards the exit to Odesa. The traffic jam stretched along Heroes of Ukraine Avenue through the Ingulsky Bridge, Pushkinska, Mykilska, and Bolshaya Morskaya streets, as well as across the entire Varvarivsky Bridge. The reason for this is still unknown.
A jam also formed on Potemkinska Street, extending from Pushkinska Street all the way to Mala Morska Street.
On Mykilska Street, the congestion stretched from the bridge almost to Sadova Street.
Traffic is either moving extremely slowly or is completely halted.
The cause of such a situation arising mid-week—typically, these jams occur on Friday evenings—is currently unclear.
