Nearly 5 million was spent on the Mayor's Department of Mykolaiv over the past 9 months

The Department of Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych consists of five divisions and 19 employees.

This information was provided in response to an inquiry from "Novosti-N" by Andriy Volkov, the manager of the Mykolaiv City Executive Committee.

The department includes the Public Relations Division, the Mayor's Service Division, the Information Support Division, the Protocol and International Cooperation Division, and the Monitoring and Analytical Work Division. Each division has a head and principal specialists, all overseen by the department director.

"Novosti-N" requested information regarding the salaries and bonuses of the mayor's department employees from January 1 to September 30, 2024.

The director of the Mykolaiv Mayor's Department has only been in position since April of this year. With an average salary of 13,000 hryvnias, he ultimately earns no less than 40,000 hryvnias per month, and sometimes it reaches up to 80,000. This significant increase in payments is due to monthly bonuses and additional payments for high achievements in work.

The Public Relations Division employs a head and three principal specialists. Monthly earnings for employees range from 15,000 to 50,000 hryvnias. The head's salary is, of course, higher—averaging around 35,000, sometimes reaching 70,000. A large portion of these amounts also consists of bonuses and additional payments "for good work."

In the Mayor's Service Division, there are three employees: a head, a deputy head, and a principal specialist. The head consistently earns around 30,000 hryvnias, with one month reaching 55,000. The deputy earns a couple of thousand less, and the principal specialist earns a bit less still. However, in all cases, the bonus and incentive payments are twice the base salary.

Three people work in the Information Support Division. There is also a head and two principal specialists. Their salaries are roughly the same as those of their colleagues in the Mayor's Service Division: 20,000, 30,000, and occasionally 50,000 hryvnias.

In the International Cooperation Division, which is also part of the Mayor's Department, the number of employees is similar, but the salaries are lower: sometimes the principal specialist earns only 11,000 hryvnias. However, it can also be 33,000, but on average, it still turns out to be less than in other divisions—apparently, specialists in international cooperation are not highly valued here.

The salaries of specialists in the Monitoring and Analytical Work Division are higher. This division employs a head, a deputy head, and three principal specialists, one of whom is on maternity leave. Here, salaries are closer to 30,000 per month, and sometimes up to 70,000.

Overall, if we sum up the salaries and bonuses of the employees in the Mayor's Department, it turns out that over the 10 months of the current year, 4,852,772 hryvnias was spent from the city budget on maintaining the department responsible for the work of Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych.
