Lviv's "Rukh" has signed an African player who previously played in Europe.

The terms and conditions of the agreement remain undisclosed; however, according to Transfermarkt, the foreign player has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2027. The compensation amount is set at €50,000. Babukar will wear the number 99 for his new team.

Gambian forward Babukar Faal will continue his career with "Rukh", reports the official website of the "yellow-blacks". The 21-year-old striker was with the Lviv team during their training camp in Slovenia and made a positive impression on the coaching staff led by Vitaliy Ponomaryov.

The terms and conditions of the agreement have not been disclosed; however, according to Transfermarkt, the foreign player signed a contract until June 30, 2027. The compensation amount was set at 50,000 euros. Babukar will wear the number 99 for his new team.

It is worth noting that Faal is a product of the Gambian club "Hawks". In February 2023, he moved to Europe, joining Croatian club "Orient," which competes in the second division. In the current season, he has played 14 matches for the Rijeka team across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. Transfermarkt values him at 450,000 euros.

"Rukh" suffered a narrow defeat to LNZ in their first match after the winter break and currently sits in seventh place in the UPL standings after 18 rounds with 23 points.
