Tabaka chicken is a delicious and aromatic dish from Georgian cuisine that has gained popularity due to its simplicity and exceptional flavor. The chicken becomes incredibly tender and juicy, while the spices give it a unique aroma.

Ingredients:

  • chicken – 1 piece;
  • salt to taste;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp;
  • chicken seasoning to taste.

Preparation method:

Cover the chicken with plastic wrap (or a bag) and pound it with a meat mallet. This is necessary to break the bones and cartilage, making the carcass flatter.

Make incisions under the breast to tuck in the wings. Sprinkle with salt on both sides.

Make cuts on the chicken and insert thinly sliced garlic into them. You can also make small cuts all over the carcass to allow the meat to absorb the spices.
