On Sunday, January 5, Kyiv's "Dynamo" set off for a winter training camp in Turkey, as reported by the official website of the "white-blues". Along with the team, defender Bohdan Sliubyk from Lviv's "Rukh" also flew out – the club will make a decision regarding the feasibility of signing a contract with the player based on the outcomes of the camp.
Additionally, three representatives from "Dynamo" U-19 joined the main team – Viacheslav Surkis, Danilo Ishchenko, and Vladislav Herych. Missing from the list is midfielder Volodymyr Shepelev – earlier reports mentioned his potential departure from the capital club.
Dynamo players preparing for the second part of the 2024/25 season in Turkey:
It’s worth noting that in the first part of the training camp, "Dynamo" will play four friendly matches – against German "Magdeburg" (January 10), Romanian "Steaua" (January 12), Polish "Widzew" (January 13), and Bulgarian CSKA 1948 (January 16). These matches will serve as preparation for the concluding games of the main stage of the Europa League – against Turkish "Galatasaray" (January 21) and Latvian RFS (January 30).
Once the official European matches are played, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's squad will continue focused preparations for the resumption of the season in the Ukrainian Premier League. The first official match after the winter break will take place on February 22 (base date) – the Kyiv team will host Lviv's "Karpaty".
