In Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, power companies are forced to implement electricity outages. This was reported on Wednesday, February 26, by NЕК "Ukrenergo".
“Due to the consequences of shelling energy facilities in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, power companies are forced to implement outages caused by network restrictions,” the report states.
The post notes that repair works are currently ongoing, and energy workers are trying to restore electricity supply to consumers. At the same time, "Ukrenergo" urged all Ukrainians to conserve electricity from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
According to experts, electricity consumption is decreasing. On February 26, as of 09:30, the level was 1.3% lower than at the same time the previous day. The reason is the rise in air temperature in several regions of Ukraine.
It is known that during the massive attack on the night of February 26, Russia struck an energy facility of DTEK in Dnipropetrovsk region. The specific facility that was hit and the extent of the damage have not been disclosed.
Recall that on the night of Wednesday, February 26, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 177 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of imitation drones.
As a result of the shelling in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, two people died and another two were injured.
