Drones targeted a Russian naval base in Novorossiysk.

On the night of Saturday, January 11, a fire broke out in the city of Novorossiysk due to a drone attack on port infrastructure. This was reported by Russian Telegram channels.

Drones targeted the port infrastructure of Novorossiysk on the night of January 11, where ships of the Russian Navy are based. Explosions were heard in the city after midnight. Reports indicate that the air defense systems were not operational during the attack.

According to local residents, there were over seven impacts recorded at the port.

It is noteworthy that Novorossiysk is located 120 km southeast of the Kerch Strait and over 600 km from Ukrainian-controlled coastal settlements. Novorossiysk has become the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet after a series of successful attacks on their vessels in temporarily occupied Crimea.
