The new goalkeeper for "Vorskla" is Vadym Yushchishyn, as reported by the official website of the Poltava team. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract with Yuriy Maksymov's team for 1.5 years.
It’s worth noting that Yushchishyn is a product of "Karpaty". He joined "Veres" in September 2019. Over 5.5 years, he made only 8 official appearances for the club. Together with the Rivne team, he won gold medals in the First League during the 2020/21 season. He also played on loan for "Uzhhorod".
This current season, he has not played any matches for "Veres". Transfermarkt values him at 100,000 euros.
Before the start of the second half of the season, "Vorskla" is in 12th place in the Ukrainian championship standings, having accumulated 16 points. Their first official match after the winter break is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, away against "Obolon". The match will kick off at 13:00.
