As reported by the Odesa regional Military Recruitment Center, a 28-year-old resident of the Bereziv district refused to present his military registration documents and sprayed tear gas in the face of one of the military personnel, also firing several shots in his direction. “Such incidents not only undermine discipline but also create an internal threat that cannot be tolerated. The law does not allow a choice between mobilization and evasion. Attempts to evade, especially using violence or threats against military personnel, are criminal offenses that carry severe penalties,” emphasized the Odesa Military Recruitment Center.
Additionally, the military noted that individuals who do not wish to undergo mobilization through the standard procedure have the option to contact the recruitment center and choose their preferred service direction.
Recall that on February 12, in Kharkiv, a man was detained for attacking a military personnel from the Recruitment Center with a knife. The assailant was charged with obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces.
