On the night of Wednesday, December 11, an industrial facility in Taganrog, Rostov region was damaged due to an attack. This was reported by the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar.
According to the Russian governor, due to a missile attack on December 11, an industrial enterprise in Taganrog was damaged, and 14 vehicles parked on the lot were burned.
“Preliminary data indicates that no one was injured. The extent of the damage is being clarified,” Slyusar added.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Taganrog, Svitlana Kambylova, noted that a boiler house was damaged in the city, leaving 27 apartment buildings without heat.
Russians have published videos capturing the sounds of numerous explosions. The Telegram channel Astra, referencing local residents, writes that the PAO “Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev” may have been targeted.
Warning, the video contains profanity!
In the meantime, “Militarny” writes that the aircraft manufacturing and repair plant for the A-50 DRLO aircraft suffered a combined attack.
“According to Russian propagandists, the city’s industrial facilities were attacked using missiles and strike drones. Meanwhile, local residents confirm the strike on the territory of the factory located on Tsialkovsky Street,” the report states.
It is worth noting that the Russian Ministry of Defense did not report on the attack in Taganrog. They only mentioned that air defense systems eliminated 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Bryansk region. It is known that during the night of December 11, due to a drone strike, an oil depot caught fire in Bryansk.
