A man died in a fire in Stryi, Lviv region. Rescuers found his body in a smoke-filled apartment. The police are investigating the cause of the blaze.

As reported by the State Emergency Service, on the morning of Saturday, February 22, rescuers received a notification about a fire in an apartment on the third floor of a five-story residential building located at 116 Hrabovetska Street in Stryi.

During the firefighting efforts, rescuers discovered the body of the 57-year-old owner on the bed in the room. The fire was extinguished at 9:40 AM. The police are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
