In Lviv, a bus struck a 17-year-old girl who was crossing the road outside of a pedestrian crossing.

"A girl born in 2007 ran onto the road outside of the pedestrian crossing. As a result, she collided with the corner of bus number 61," reported the Lviv City Transport Department.

On Monday morning, January 20, in Lviv on Pidvalna Street, a traffic accident involving a city bus occurred, resulting in injuries to a 17-year-old girl. This was reported by the Lviv City Council.

“The girl, born in 2007, ran onto the road outside of the pedestrian crossing. As a result, she collided with the corner of bus No. 61”, the Lviv City Council's transport department reported.

Emergency medical services arrived quickly at the scene and transported the girl to the St. Nicholas City Hospital. Medical professionals are currently providing her with all the necessary assistance.

“The girl was admitted in a condition of moderate severity. Medical staff are currently attending to her”, stated the First Medical Association of Lviv.

Law enforcement is investigating the details of the incident. The transport department of the Lviv City Council urges pedestrians to be vigilant and only cross roads at designated locations.
