A 46-year-old passenger from Rivne region tragically lost her life in a car accident involving a Toyota Camry in Volyn.

A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Kamin-Kashirsky district of the Volyn region. As a result of the crash, a 56-year-old woman lost her life, while three men sustained injuries. This was reported by the National Police press service on Saturday, December 21.

The accident took place on Friday, December 20, on the road near the village of Severynivka. According to preliminary police reports, a 50-year-old driver of a Toyota Camry lost control and veered into a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.

A 46-year-old female passenger died at the scene from her injuries. The driver and two passengers, aged 42 and 43, were hospitalized with injuries. The police noted that all the victims were residents of the Rivne region.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules resulting in death).

Recall that on December 18, near the village of Palche in the Lutsk district, a minibus veered off the road and collided with a tree. The driver died at the scene, while five passengers were injured.
