The decision has been made in Ukraine to increase the number of mobile fire groups in regions frequently targeted by Russian attacks. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on November 11.

«I listened to a report on further strengthening of air defense. We decided to increase the number of mobile fire groups in regions that are priority targets for Russian terror», the statement reads.

According to Zelensky, the implementation of previous decisions regarding better preparation and equipping of mobile fire groups is currently ongoing.

Additionally, the president announced that the development of a comprehensive program against Russian guided aerial bombs is underway. There are already promising technological solutions available for this.

«There is a decision from the Commander-in-Chief about significantly strengthening the most challenging directions – Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk. In the Kursk region, our guys continue to hold off an enemy grouping of nearly 50,000 outside of Ukraine», Zelensky added.

It should be noted that on the night of Monday, November 11, Russian military forces once again attacked Ukraine with strike drones and two guided aerial missiles. The defense forces shot down at least 39 UAVs.

On November 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia is using ten times more Shahed drones against Ukraine than last autumn. In October 2024, the Russians launched 2023 strike drones of the Shahed type and unmanned aerial vehicles of unspecified type at Ukraine. In total, since the beginning of the year, the occupiers have launched 6987 UAVs.
