Russians shelled the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region for the second time in one day. As a result of the attack, a local resident lost her life. This was reported on Saturday, February 22, by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to investigators, the Russians struck residential buildings in the city at 15:35. The occupiers launched 3 airstrikes on the city, likely using FAB-250 bombs with an UMPK module. One of the munitions hit an apartment building. As a result of the attack, a 69-year-old local woman was killed, and three others – two local women and a man – sustained injuries.

“They have been diagnosed with mine-blast injuries, concussions, shrapnel wounds, and traumatic brain injury. The victims have received medical assistance and have been taken to the hospital,” the report states.

Additionally, seven apartment buildings, a gas pipeline, 12 garage spaces, and a store were damaged due to the attack.

It is worth noting that in the morning of February 22, the Russians dropped seven aerial bombs on Kostiantynivka. As a result of the attack, at least two people – men aged 62 and 72 – were killed. Reports indicated that there may still be individuals trapped under the rubble.
