As a result of the attack, an apartment building and several private sector structures have been destroyed.

On Saturday, February 22, Russian occupiers attacked Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region with aerial bombs. As a result of the shelling, there are casualties and injuries in the city, including displaced persons from Bakhmut, reported the press service of the National Police.

According to law enforcement, the Russian occupiers dropped seven "FAB-250" aerial bombs on Kostiantynivka. One of them hit a five-story apartment building, resulting in the destruction of apartments from the first to the fifth floor.

As a result of the attack, at least two people have died – men aged 62 and 72. There may also be individuals trapped under the rubble, and a search operation is ongoing.

“Three women aged 56, 61, and 71 were injured. The oldest victim was evacuated to the hospital in serious condition by police paramedics. Among the injured are displaced persons from Bakhmut,” the National Police press service reported.

Preliminary information indicates that due to the Russian attack, 10 apartment buildings and 21 private houses, industrial facilities, as well as a store, parking lots, garages, vehicles, two power lines, and two gas pipelines were damaged in the city.
